L.E.Ds-The Safest Form Of Vanity

L.E.D. s (light emitting diodes) has really come of age in the past few years. You see them in stop lights, watches, exit lights, on key rings and on motorcycles.
No longer do you need to settle for the standard color of red from back in the 60's, now science has developed a better, brighter and more colorful L.E.D. for the designer's mind. Colors of purple, orange, green and blue are just a few of the colors offered by businesses that specialize in car and motorcycle lighting.

For motorcycle enthusiasts with a flair for tricking out their 2 wheeled transportation this is what they have been waiting for. Granted many bikes have more chrome and fancy Do-Dads than a James Bond car, but all that shine isn't seen when the sun goes down.

Enter the modern L.E.D...
Motorcycle riders have a hard time being seen even during the day. There is something about an
approaching thin object that isn't registered in the brain of  many cage drivers. Many a cyclist has been T-boned by a driver who was looking straight at the approaching cyclists. For this reason night riding brings out the  enhanced version of a biker's radar, seeking out any idiot cage drivers who won't see them. At night bike riders can use all the help they can get. By installing  some low cost L.E.D. lights they make themselves 50 percent more visible.

No longer would the driver see a single light approaching---thinking in his non thinking mind that the moon is low tonight. Now he sees the moon approaching with a purple, red, or green low glow emitting around it. He notices this; he pays a little more attention.

Maybe a life is saved!
Many a motorcyclist has an ego the size of the Grand Canyon when it comes to their ride. So often the thought of an L.E.D. lit bike might be.  "Hey, look at me, ain't I cool". But the underlying thought behind the hours that it took to get those tiny diodes in place and shine as bright as a baby's smile might be. "Hey look at me, don't run me over".

Since technology has improved greatly you will find that a business like Street Lights, which carries some ground breaking innovations, can assist in lighting up your bike so even the dim wit driver in the car can see you coming. Advances in adhesives have made installing, a secure and easy job. The size of the L.E.D. alone  has been drastically reduced while the output has increased tremendously.

So now when you see this neon glow of light approach you, you might understand the why behind the fancy look.
