ABOUT US....
Canton Cycles is your source for Victory, Moto Guzzi motorcycles, Vespa and Piaggio scooters, Ural Motorcycles and sidecars, and Kymco ATVs. We are eager and able to serve you with the best service there is, a huge inventory, and the most knowledgeable staff you will find. Stop in and demo ride!
Canton Cycles opened in 1972 in Canton, CT. Over the years people came and went, franchises were taken on and the business kept expanding. The old building we were in was full of history, but over time Canton Cycles kept growing. Numerous additions were built but we grew even faster. So, during the winter of 2002/2003, we moved our entire operation to a building we found in Winsted. We decided to maintain the same name (even though we were now 12 miles away from Canton) because we had so much invested in it and our hard earned reputation was so widely known. Change is a good thing but we are still holding on to our original beliefs. They are: sell a good product, back it up with the best service possible, treat your customers fairly and honestly, and put the quality and reputation of your business above all else. This is a great business to be in and we do it because we love it. We know we will never make the Fortune 500 list, but like a fine motorcycle, Canton Cycles is a hell of a ride! ................. Now we are on to new things !!! We sold the BMW and Triumph franchises to Gengras HD in East Hartford. Now we are selling Victory, Moto Guzzi motorcycles, Piaggio and Vespa scooters. We sell Kymco ATVs and Ural Motorcycles with sidecars. Our accessories and apparel are the best. Canton Cycles.....worth the ride from anywhere!

Ralph E. DeLuco, President.
Ralph started here in 1979 as a Technician. He purchased it in the early 80's and turned in into one of the top ten largest BMW dealerships in parts and sales at that time. BMW is gone now and Ralph is busy reorganizing the new Canton Cycles with new products. He is married to Brenda and has two
beautiful daughters. |
Bill Lord. Vice President. Bill is our Vice President. He has been here for the past seven years. Married to Gail and the father of four grown children, Bill works in our sales department and loves what he does and making people happy. |
Tom "Mac" MacBurnie. Service Manager. Mac has been a certified motorcycle technician for more than 35 years. He recently received his Master Tech Certification, the highest available. He ran the service departments for many of the shops in the area over the years and had his own shop before coming on board with us 8 years ago. If Mac can't fix it, it can't be fixed! Mac is married to Margaret and father of 2 grown children. |
Hank Brownstein: Parts Manager Hank has been with us for two years now and has recently been promoted to parts manager. His great knowledge of all phases of a parts department comes from a technical background as he has a federal license in
aviation air frame and power plant. He has also had experience in automotive service departments. Hank is very helpful and will do his best to find whatever parts or accessories you need. The rest of the "crew" includes; Judi Raymond, Office Manager, who has been with us for over 26 years and the only person here longer than Ralph (by a couple
weeks), Shannon Fry and Pete DeBisschop (sales), and Josh Niemiec (service).
